CACFP Operational Resources & Education (CORE) is a USDA FNS funded training initiative designed to provide practical CACFP sponsor focused training solutions for State agencies. State agencies will have access to live in-person training sessions. Attendees will receive comprehensive training resources to use to train sponsoring organizations, along with training techniques to enhance their existing training skills. Who Should Participate? The CORE-CACFP Train-the-Trainer Conference is geared toward State agency staff who are primarily responsible for developing State agency policy related to the CACFP; and for State agency staff who are primarily responsible for providing training and/or technical assistance directly to sponsoring organizations in the following CACFP training topic areas: There is not a limit of the number of State agency representatives that can register for the Virtual Conference. There is no registration fee or participation fee for State agency personnel to participate in the Virtual Conference. If you are participating in the Virtual Conference as a group, all participants must register for the Virtual Conference and indicate that they will be participating in the Virtual Conference as a group. Registered participants will receive a password to access the virtual conference the day before the scheduled event. Instructions regarding accessing the Virtual Conference platform will be emailed to registered participants prior to the start of the event. The CORE-CACFP Train-the-Trainer Virtual Conference registration deadline is July 30th.
